Today, the 2023 China Data and Storage Summit with the theme "Smart Innovation, AI Future" took place successfully in Beijing. With the rapid development of technologies like cloud-native and hyper-convergence, data has evolved from a previously single storage mode to become increasingly complex. The volume of data has grown exponentially, posing challenges in terms of data security, efficient availability, and flexible scalability. At present, the surge of AIGC (Artificial Intelligence and Generalized Computing) technology has once again placed data at the forefront. In the realm of language models, the window size is a key indicator of the comprehensive computational capabilities of large models. A longer window size allows models to process a richer knowledge base, generating more coherent and precise text. Traditional databases primarily manage structured data, such as strings, using point and range searches, making block storage (SAN) and file storage (NAS) the predominant storage methods. With the emergence of unstructured data in the era of big data, distributed storage, such as object storage, has gained prominence. While NAS and SAN boast similar controller architectures and provide stable and secure cold data storage, their limited storage nodes constrain them in the face of complex and massive data storage requirements.
In high-tech fields like cloud computing, AI, HPC, and big data, distributed storage is gradually becoming the mainstream, shouldering the responsibility of massive, high-performance data storage. Dual-control storage is the ideal storage method for OLAP-class online transactions, telecommunications, core databases in finance, and other fields. Gooxi's dual-control storage servers support deployment at the edge, core, or in the public cloud. The system adopts wireless cables and modular design, enabling flexible expansion and supporting agile data migration.
