On October 25th, CPSE-2023 - The 19th China Public Security Expo, referred to as "CPSE," opened with grandeur in Shenzhen. This security extravaganza brought together numerous innovators and tech leaders in the field of smart security. Gooxi, a leading Chinese server solutions provider, made a stunning appearance with its star models and security industry server solutions.
This year's CPSE is once again a carnival of AI that you can't escape. Visual perception devices abound, AIOT fills the scene, and new technologies and products continue to emerge, integrating and expanding into new practical applications within the security field. Various participating security companies showcased their expertise, engaging in fierce competition in the realm of AI, where AIGC continuously collide, creating sparks. Among the many security manufacturers primarily focusing on surveillance, Gooxi's exhibition booth, featuring fourteen servers, was remarkably eye-catching and attracted numerous visitors.
AI is a natural application for smart security. Under the acceleration of AI-driven transformations, traditional security challenges, such as human-dependent operations and high costs, are being effectively resolved. Precise detection and tracking of individuals, real-time perimeter intrusion alerts, accurate recognition of people, vehicles, and objects—all of this is based on a unified video monitoring platform.
Gooxi showcased AI servers at CPSE, providing the foundational AI computing power for smart monitoring platforms. The AI server presented at this event, the AMD Milan Dual-Socket 4U 10-GPU server, supports two high-performance AMD EPYC series processors and utilizes advanced GPU acceleration technology. It can accommodate up to ten double-width, full-height, and full-length GPU cards, supporting GPUs such as 10x RTX 3090, 8x RTX 4090, and 8x A800. With 16 DDR4 memory slots, it offers reliability and high scalability, making it suitable for deep learning training and online inference for various models and applications. In the field of security monitoring, it supports the analysis of 8-64 video streams, directly connecting with camera devices and terminals. When combined with AI algorithms, it enables functions like facial recognition, vehicle type and license plate recognition, cross-border tracking, and the analysis of individuals, vehicles, and non-property attributes, providing real-time monitoring data for more precise and effective security management.
Compared to other servers, edge servers are closer to endpoints, providing faster speeds and lower latency. Hence, they have a wide range of applications in the security industry. The Gooxi Intel Eagle Stream edge server displayed at the expo is based on the fourth-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processor and supports up to two GPU graphics cards or eight AI acceleration cards. It features a 4-bay hot-swappable hard drive configuration that supports SATA/SAS/NVMe storage protocols, all within a compact 450mm depth chassis design. This makes it suitable for edge computing and inference in smart security scenarios, addressing video recognition needs in specific areas like smart communities, intelligent transportation, smart construction sites, smart urban management, and smart energy. It can automatically detect intrusion, smoke, gatherings, and abandonment, and recognize specific scenarios such as facial recognition, vehicle obstruction, and loitering.
The expo also featured the Gooxi Intel Purley Dual-Socket Storage Server, providing 36 large-capacity hard drive slots within a 4U chassis. This offers unparalleled reliability for servers and storage systems that run 24/7, meeting the high-capacity, high-performance, and high-stability demands of the data intelligence era.
In addition to these offerings, the expo also showcased the Hygon 3 dual-socket rack server based on a domestic platform and the Loongson dual-socket standard server. The Hygon 3 dual-socket rack server is a 2U rack server developed based on the Hygon 3 platform, featuring a unique modular design with 11 PCIe extensions. It provides powerful computing performance and ample expandability, easily handling low-latency and data-intensive workloads. It is suitable for critical business requirements with information-sensitive needs in security scenarios.
As a regular attendee of CPSE, Gooxi is deeply rooted in the security industry and can provide reliable support for the smart and digital innovation of security in cities, communities, and industrial zones. In the midst of the collision between AIOT and AIGC, reflecting on the development of security and AI integration—from the simple belief that algorithms equal AI to the focus on the co-development of algorithms, computing power, and data—public understanding of smart security has become more mature. Gooxi, as a foundational computing power hardware provider for the security industry, has consistently focused on empowering every step of security development.
