Gooxi's fourth-generation Intel platform server series has undergone a comprehensive upgrade and will now fully support the fifth-generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors. Currently, the Gooxi 4U 4-GPU AI server and the dual-socket high-end server on the Intel platform have completed a seamless upgrade, fully compatible with both the fourth and fifth-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors.
After six months, Intel's fourth-generation Xeon Scalable processors are receiving their fifth comprehensive upgrade. Emerald Rapids (fifth generation) is considered an improved version of Sapphire Rapids (fourth generation), indicating their shared Eagle Stream (EGS) platform, allowing a smooth upgrade to the new platform. While retaining the features of the fourth generation, including DDR5 and PCIe 5.0, the fifth generation introduces new AI capabilities. Each core now comes with an embedded Intel AMX acceleration AI module, enhancing AI inference performance. The fifth-generation processor's overall base performance has improved by 21% compared to the previous generation, with an impressive 42% increase in AI inference performance.
Additionally, the CPU's core count has increased to 64, delivering higher single-core performance. Each core is equipped with AI acceleration, incorporating new I/O technologies (XCL, PCIe 5.0), further enhancing UPI speed, and raising memory bandwidth from 4800MT/s to 5600MT/s. The fifth-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processor also introduces support for SGX and TDX, along with a range of confidential computing applications built on SGX and TDX, such as runtime virtual machines and containers.
As the first server product to feature the fifth-generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, Gooxi's AI server 4U 4-GPU server boasts high performance, reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency. Supporting up to 12 PCIe 5.0 high-speed expansion slots, it offers rich expansion capabilities and accommodates four high-performance H800, 4090, L40 GPU cards for demanding computational tasks. Suitable for applications such as training inference, artificial intelligence, deep learning, smart education, smart cities, healthcare, big data, and virtual reality. Gooxi's fifth-generation Intel dual-socket high-end server supports 1 or 2 fifth-generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, with a maximum of 32 DDR5 memory slots and up to 12 PCIe 5.0 expansions. Optionally supporting four double-width full-height full-length GPU cards, it is ideal for virtualization, cloud computing, big data processing, high-performance computing, distributed storage, enterprise markets, or telecom services.
